The most important nutrition for you newborn baby is BREAST MILK!  Researchers are confirming what Mother Nature has been telling us for years…..breastfeed your baby.

Babies who are placed on their mother’s naked chest right after birth are more successful with latching on to Mom’s breast and will breastfeed longer.  This skin-to-skin contact increases the overall bonding with both parents.

It is highly recommended that you exclusively breastfeed your baby for at least the first 6 months.  Of course it is beneficial to continue breastfeeding your baby beyond as well.  This really is a very short span of time in your child’s life and before you know it you will be introducing solid foods.
